JR Reid was a UNC basketball player from Virginia Beach who was drafted 5th overall in the 1989 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Hornets. After several standout years for the Heels, he took his game to the next level and played from 1989-2001. Considered the number 1 player in his high school class, his jersey is amongst those honored in the Dean Dome rafters. Wonder where he is now?
